What will you do?
As a Product Manager Tech of Financial Allocation, Visualization and Insight technologies, you will lead initiatives to understand and optimize cost throughout the entire supply chain, including first mile, middle mile, and final mile transportation for both trucking and under-the-roof activities. You will play a crucial role in defining and influencing the organization's allocation strategies, driving business and operational decisions. With cost being a leading factor in the development of key initiatives and product offerings, your role will be intrinsic in influencing decision-making across the Amazon Shipping ecosystem.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of cost structures across all stages of the supply chain, from first mile to last mile, including both transportation and warehouse operations.
• Define data-driven product requirements for developing costing allocation technologies and systems.
• Create and maintain a product vision and roadmap for cost optimization tools and strategies.
• Partner with finance, operations, and engineering teams to build exceptional cost management and allocation products.
• Develop and implement allocation strategies that drive informed business and operational decisions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and influence the development of new products and services based on cost insights.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure cost allocation methodologies support international use cases and varying regional requirements.
• Analyze and present cost data to influence key initiatives and product offerings across the organization.
• Anticipate bottlenecks in cost allocation processes, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs to balance business needs versus technical or operational constraints.
• Define user stories and product requirements for cost management tools while contributing to their technical design.
• About 15% travel required.

What will you do?
As a Principal Product Manager - Tech, you will lead new, large product initiatives to define the long-term strategy and vision to meet emerging customer needs. You will handle complex product development and business management scenarios, proactively identifying gaps/opportunities to then develop a suite of products to solve the problems.
The ideal candidate has a strong logistics/supply chain and product management background combined with a solid understanding of current technologies. S/he can develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but also roll up their sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, ability to influence cross-functional and remote teams, a customer-centric and creative mindset with strong analytical skills are essential. This opportunity requires excellent product management, prioritization, and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate ambiguity.
