You assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You help ensure sure that Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelēz standards in execution are followed.

How you will contribute

The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

More about this role

As a Project Coordinator within our PMO, you will be the "engine room" of our capital investment projects for brands like Trident, Clorets, and Halls. You will support the regional and local engineering teams by maintaining project visibility, tracking financial health, and ensuring that all documentation follows the Mondelēz project management methodology. This is a foundational role designed to grow your career in global supply chain management.

What you need to know about this position:

Project Tracking: You will maintain the project master schedule, ensuring that milestones for major plant upgrades or new product launches are updated in real-time.Financial Coordination: You will assist in tracking CAPEX spending, processing purchase orders (POs), and managing vendor invoices to ensure projects stay within budget.Governance & Reporting: You will prepare weekly and monthly status reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting risks or delays before they impact production.What extra ingredients you will bring:Hyper-Organization: A natural ability to manage multiple spreadsheets, timelines, and stakeholders without losing track of the details.Curiosity: A strong desire to learn the FMCG industry and the technical aspects of gum and candy manufacturing.Digital Savvy: Proficiency in data visualization and project tools to turn complex project data into simple, actionable insights.Communication Skills: The ability to follow up with busy engineers and vendors to ensure deadlines are met and documentation is complete.

Education / Certifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering.Preferred: CAPM (Certified associate in project management) or an interest in pursuing PMP certification.Preferred: Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles.

Job specific requirements:

Experience: 0–2 years of experience (internships or early-career roles in project environments are highly valued).Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and MS Project or similar scheduling tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Trello).Analytical Skills: Basic understanding of financial concepts like budgeting, forecasting, and variances.

Travel requirements:

Frequency: Low (0–10%). Occasional travel may be required for team workshops or to visit local manufacturing sites to understand the project landscape.
