Position Summary
Why join our team?We are looking for a PMO lead to join Samsung MX team, aligning cross functional internal teams to deliver against the SEUK strategy focusing on; overhauling the financial and marketing funding pipeline for MX, coordinating and updating internal processes to deliver best in class campaigns, owning the yearly planning cycle and increasing operational efficiencies by working with our key agencies partners to deliver the best service.
This role is dedicated to leading coordinated integrated planning across MX. Whilst being a key point of daily contact for our local team, you will also be responsible for building a positive relationship with senior leadership, agency leads and external partners.
Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
What are the key responsibilities & what will be your key deliverables?
Processes (launches and financial)
Manage and lead cross functional teams to deliver a combination of launches and planning processes across Samsung MX (Mobile phones, tablets, hearables, wearables, PC) on time and in full, ensuring that we establish and maintain monthly, quarterly and annual planning processes.
Renew the MX marketing blueprint process from start to finish, working with finance, team HoD and HoD of IMG to overhaul to ensure timely tracking of spend, accurate reporting, fair distribution and increase ROI.
Lead the security of the end-to-end launch process for multiple HQ, internal and agency partners. Regularly assess adaptability of security plans, scrutinise adherence to steps and processes and report back to HQ periodically.
Tracking team metrics to plan and overlooking the reporting processes across MX, automating and collating reporting, cascading these in an easily sharable Suwon format with key stakeholders across SEUK on a regular cadence to help understand business performance.
Agencies
Ensure agencies deliver excellence in idea creation, client market management, workflow management and deliverable output whilst ensuring they are prepared, accredited and adhering to Samsung security procedures.
Work with the ‘Lead Planning & Finance Manager’ & ‘Head of IMG’ to handle the forecasting of workload and agency spend, ensuring that contracts and payments are delivered on time through full RFP processes.
Develop and align teams behind periodic agency reviews. Deliver feedback to agencies and develop plans to course correct struggles or areas of underperformance.
Develop ways to ensure that quantity and quality of work is periodically measured and critical metrics are developed to ensure continual improvements.
Ensure adhere to best-in-class financial management and reconciliation

Multi-disciplined tech experience across product, channel and campaign marketing
Able to coordinate, deliver and lead a strategy that contributes to commercial growth ambitions
Well versed in handling agency relationships.

Encouraging and driving a culture of collaboration, innovation and standard process across MX leading to efficiencies felt by all levels of the team.
A revamped financial blueprint planning process that reviews campaigns to ensure they deliver on SEUK strategic goals with strong ROI, tracks spend accurately, delivers campaign codes in and that reconciles investment faster allowing for tactical re-investment.
Deliver outstanding automated reporting, aligned to Suwon formats, consolidated across teams and delivered in a timely, easy to understand manner to key stakeholders – overall number of reports decreasing and becoming more centralised.
Establishing valuable relationships with key agencies, through QBRs / proactive projects and RFP processes to get the best service for Samsung that meets SEUK goals at more efficient investment levels.
