PMO & Governance (Learning & Development) Manager, Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS)
Description We are seeking an experienced L&D professional to join GPCS PMO & Governance team. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining program management processes, governance structures, and learning frameworks across GPCS organization. With a primary focus on L&D, the ideal candidate will bring strong instructional design experience while supporting broader PMO and Governance initiatives within GPCS operations. Key job responsibilities Key Responsibilities: 1. PMO Management: - Develop and implement PMO best practices, methodologies, and standards - Create and maintain program dashboards, reports, and KPIs for executive leadership - Lead continuous improvement initiatives for PMO processes and tools 2. Governance: - Design and implement robust governance frameworks for programs and projects - Establish and manage governance committees, including setting agendas, facilitating meetings, and ensuring follow-up on action items - Develop and maintain governance policies, procedures, and documentation - Ensure compliance with internal and external governance requirements - Conduct regular governance audits and assessments 3. Learning & Development: - Design and implement learning strategies aligned with organizational objectives - Develop comprehensive training programs and materials for Cross-functional and role-specific learning needs within GPCS and internal teams - Create learning content and curriculum for various delivery methods (e.g., classroom, virtual, self-paced) - Measure and evaluate learning program effectiveness through metrics and feedback - Partner with subject matter experts across GPCS to develop technical and procurement-specific training - Maintain a learning management system (LMS) and track completion rates - Ensure training materials remain current with evolving practices and requirements 4. Stakeholder Management: - Facilitate effective decision-making through timely and accurate reporting - Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Drive adoption of learning initiatives across the organization Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience - 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience - 3+ years of employee and performance management experience - 3+ years of supply chain experience - Experience understanding process flow and suggest improvements to deliver cost savings, inventory reduction, or other benefits to the site - Experience in procurement - Experience in learning and development or instructional design - Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies - Experience with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software - Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Computer Science, or related field - Experience in program/project management or related roles - Proven experience in establishing and managing governance frameworks - Proficiency in project management and governance tools - PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred - Learning & Development certification (e.g., ATD, CPLP) preferred Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
