Gala Restaurant is seeking a professional, friendly, and efficient Server to join our team in Aventura, Florida. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by taking food and beverage orders, serving guests with care and accuracy, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming and upscale dining atmosphere.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system efficiently.

Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food items according to Gala Restaurant’s service standards.

Ensure timely delivery of orders and attend to guest needs throughout the dining experience.

Present checks, collect payments, and process transactions accurately.

Assist in setting, clearing, and resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction.

Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and wine/cocktail selections.

Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and alcohol service laws.
 

Qualifications Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public. Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.  High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred. ServSafe and/or food safety training. Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS). Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
