**Job Title: Plumbing Technician** **Job Description** As a Plumbing Technician, you will perform a range of plumbing services from simple faucet repairs to complex water heater installations and complete plumbing system replacements. You will work on various shifts, either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday, with fixed shift times once started. **Responsibilities** + Respond promptly to customer service calls and conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues. + Accurately diagnose problems and offer effective solutions and estimates. + Successfully close service sales and proficiently install and repair various plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners. + Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters. + Ensure thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to meet pre-job conditions. + Prepare invoices, total costs of services/products provided, collect payment, and explain guarantees in writing and on a smartphone. + Collect payment and efficiently proceed to the next service call. **Essential Skills** + A valid driver’s license. + Five or more years of repair and service plumbing experience. + Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services. + Full knowledge of plumbing systems. + Ability to gain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training within the first year. + Journeyman license or equivalent certification as required by state law. + Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective customer service. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Backflow certification (support provided). + OSHA 10 certification (support provided). + Experience with plumbing, construction, service, and commercial/residential plumbing. + Skills in preventative maintenance, customer relations, and sales. + Capability to install and repair water heaters, including gas, electric, and tankless models. + Proficiency in drain cleaning and working with materials such as PVC, cast iron, copper, and blueprint reading. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy paid office meetings and a comprehensive 12-week employer-paid training program, with 80% of the training in the field.
