Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and over one year of experience in plumbing. The role involves diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, installing and maintaining various plumbing systems, and performing routine inspections. The ideal candidate should effectively communicate with homeowners and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards.

ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks and faulty fixtures.Install and maintain water heaters, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and other plumbing systems.Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.Communicate clearly with homeowners about issues, solutions, and pricing.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards.Provide emergency plumbing services as needed (on-call rotation may apply).Essential Skills1+ years of experience in plumbing.Experience with soldering.Ability to use an impact driver and basic hand tools.Valid driver's license.Mechanical aptitude and plumbing skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of HVAC, electrical, troubleshooting, repair, and gauges.Experience with pro-press, plumbing, construction installation, skilled trades, blueprints.Familiarity with tools such as Impact Drill, Sawzaw, lighted level, channel locks, and more.Comfortable with physical activities such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting 100+ lbs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our team-oriented environment is very busy, requiring on-call shifts every six weeks with compensation. Expect to work Monday to Friday, approximately 7 AM to 5 PM, with potential for over 60 hours per week due to new projects. Technicians are paired with a journeyman and start the day either on-site or at the shop address. The dress code includes jeans, work boots, and work-appropriate t-shirts, which we provide.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
