Job Description
We are seeking a talented Plumbing Engineer to join our team and lead the plumbing design and project management for various commercial and residential developments. This role is perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being the primary contact for projects, and can confidently manage calls and meetings. You will work alongside a small but skilled team and will handle essential plumbing design tasks, including riser diagrams and coordination with other disciplines.
Responsibilities
Lead plumbing design efforts for assigned projects.Act as the point of contact for plumbing-related coordination and meetings.Manage design timelines and deliverables.Cover project calls and client meetings as needed.Produce riser diagrams and plumbing layouts using Revit.Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants.Ensure punctuality and accountability in daily tasks.Essential Skills
5–7 years of plumbing design experience.EIT certification required; PE license is a plus.Strong proficiency in Revit.Experience with commercial and Multifamily building types.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Reliable and punctual; able to work independently and collaboratively.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Licensed Engineer PE (Plumbing) is a plus.Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, design, HVAC, and BIM.Experience in plumbing/fire protection and mechanical engineering.Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with remote work available on Wednesdays. You will be working in a collaborative environment on diverse projects, including multi-family and hospitality projects.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $49.00/hr.
