About the Role
You’ll work alongside a foreman, journeymen, and apprentices to complete rough‑ins, mechanical joints, fixture installations, and finishing plumbing. This role offers exposure to a wide range of systems and materials, including cast iron, copper, and piping from 0.5\" to 4\".
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform plumbing work on new construction and institutional projectsInstall and work with cast iron, copper, and various pipe sizesComplete rough‑ins, mechanical joints, and finishing plumbingInstall faucets, toilets, piping, and occasionally heating/cooling equipmentCollaborate with site leadership and contribute to a productive, safety‑focused environment
Essential Skills & Experience3rd‑year apprentice or higher in plumbing2+ years of experience in institutional or commercial plumbingStrong experience with rough‑in and finishing plumbingAbility to work at project sites in Vancouver and/or UBC
Preferred QualificationsRed Seal certificationExperience working with cast ironStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliable, safety‑minded, and committed to quality workmanship
