Estimates material needed for new installations and plumbing maintenance. Must be able to work from blueprints. Performs work on new projects as required. Oversees all installation and repair of plumbing systems. Responsibilities: + Prepares jobs, works from blueprints and sketches + Repairs and maintains piping systems and plumbing fixtures, autoclaves, water sterilizers, stills, etc + Works with power tools such as: pipe cutter, threader, electrical snake, hand snake, etc + When working with other men on plumbing work, is able to prepare the work and direct the men as to what is to be done Installs sinks, toilets, etc + Requisitions materials Installs radiators, valves, piping and other materials needed on heating system + Works with torch to heat lead, caulk joints, replace washers in faucets Installs gaskets on sterilizers and autoclaves Required to assist in snow removal Requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent + Clean NYS driver’s license + Minimum of five (5) years as a master plumber and must have knowledge in all phases of construction, industrial and hospital type plumbing Salary Range USD $36.00 - USD $50.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
