Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain backend applications using Python. 

Customize and configure solutions within Contact PLM. 

Build RESTful APIs and support system integrations. 

Integrate PLM with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems. 

Write automation scripts and data processing tools. 

Support data migration and system enhancement activities. 

Participate in requirement analysis and technical design discussions. 

Troubleshoot application and integration issues. 

Follow coding standards, security practices, and development best practices. 

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, QA). 

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, IT, or related field 

 

Experience :5-7 years

 

Mandatory/requires Skills: Technical Skills 

5–7 years of experience in Python development. 

Strong knowledge of: 

Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI preferred) 

REST API development 

SQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) 

Basic understanding of NoSQL databases. 

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) 

Experience working with PLM systems (Contact PLM preferred). 

Experience in enterprise system integrations. 

Knowledge of Git and version control. 

Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines. 

Familiarity with microservices architecture. 

Good debugging and troubleshooting skills. 

 

Preferred Skills 

Exposure to manufacturing or product engineering domains 

Basic cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure) 

Familiarity with Docker 

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Additional Information

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 5–7 years of experience to develop, customize, and support solutions within a Contact PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) environment. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills, experience in API development, and exposure to enterprise system integrations.
