Location: Walker, MI
Pay Rate: $25 - $35/hr
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
We're seeking a skilled PLC Technician to support and troubleshoot automation systems on a high-volume manufacturing line. This role focuses on maintaining equipment uptime, identifying root causes of automation issues, and escalating complex problems to the engineering team when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair issues with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems
Work with industrial robotics platforms such as Fanuc, KUKA, Siemens, and Rockwell
Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues appropriately
Interpret schematics and potentially diagnose circuit board-level faults
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Maintain clear documentation of issues and resolutions
Qualifications:Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment
Familiarity with one or more platforms: Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc, KUKA
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Effective communicator with a proactive, self-starting mindset
Working knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting and safety protocols
