Troubleshoot, read, and edit PLC logicRead and evaluate electrical schematicsTroubleshoot using meters, laptop, schematics and manualsMotivated to continuous improvement in the process to maintain optimum operation conditions and plant productivityWork independently and take ownership while working in a team environmentDemonstrate customer focus by continually exceeding customer expectationsProgramming and installation of automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems (PLC’s, HMI’s, robotics, drives and computers)Modifications and improvements to automation equipmentReview work orders and receives verbal instructions on job assignmentsRespond to emergency requests for immediate repairsMaintains specified records and logs of repairs, maintenance-related activitiesPerforms preventative maintenance procedures following established programPromotes teamwork in troubleshooting eventsOther duties as assigned

What you'll need to succeed:

Minimum 3 years experience in plastics industry or equivalentExperience in optimizing blow molding products or equivalentKnowledge about energy sources (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)Knowledge of relevant quality control schemesKnowledge of different measure techniques (z.B. calipers, gauges)Knowledge of EHS guidelinesKnowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)High school diploma or GED required
