Work independently and take ownership while working in a team environmentDemonstrate customer focus by continually meeting and exceeding customer expectationsProgramming and installation of automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems including PLC’s, HMI’s, robotics, drives and computersModifications and improvements to automation equipmentReview work orders and receives verbal instructions on job assignmentsTroubleshooting support of production equipmentRespond to emergency requests for immediate repairsAbility to work overtime and flexible hours as neededMaintains specified records and logs of repairs, maintenance-related activitiesPerforms preventative maintenance procedures following an established programFollows applicable codes and regulationsCleans immediate work areasPerforms other duties incidental to the position, as assignedMaintain safe work environment and follow all safety standardsComply with all OSHA standards and Textron health safety standards Comply with all ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards

What you'll need to succeed:

2 year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred2 years experience in manufacturing environment1 year Siemens PLC S7-300 hardware and programming experience1 year Fanuc robotic programming experienceProven understanding of electronics, computer, and automation technologiesProven ability to read and interpret equipment repair and installation manuals, wiring schematics, and drawingsProven electrical experience, including ability to run wire and troubleshoot electrical applications Proven ability to use test and measuring equipment…multi-meter, micrometer, etc.
