Job Summary:\n

The Player Development Assistant is responsible for managing daily operations at the Florida complex, including housing, transportation, and international travel logistics for players and staff. Key duties involve coordinating player development operations, supporting educational programming, handling visa logistics for international players, and assisting in player development initiatives. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure a seamless experience for all involved. Fluency in Spanish preferred.\n

Job Duties:\n

Player Development Operations & Insights Support:\n\nSupport data-informed player development initiatives by assisting with the collection, organization, and interpretation of performance and wellness data.\nCollaborate with coordinators, coaches, and analysts to maintain accurate player profiles, track progress, and translate insights into actionable feedback. \nContribute to the planning and delivery of educational and life skills programming-such as leading the CEP program-to ensure alignment with organizational development goals and values. \nSupport individualized player development plans by facilitating communication between departments, contributing to both on-field and off-field development initiatives, and providing logistical and educational support that reinforces each player's growth trajectory.\n\n

Coordinate Player Development Operations at the Jupiter Complex:\n\nOversee all housing, transportation, and travel logistics for the Florida complex. \nServe as the primary point of contact for team apartment assignments and hotel accommodations during both in-season and offseason periods. \nEnsure consistent and reliable transportation for Rehabilitation, FCL, and Palm Beach (Low-A) players, and coordinate travel arrangements for players and staff entering or departing the complex.\n\n

International Travel & Visa Logistics:\n\nManage all aspects of visa and passport logistics for international players traveling to and from the United States, including the timely preparation and submission of petitions, coordination of visa appointments, and oversight of visa cancellations across all levels of the organization. \n\n

Education\/Experience Required:\n\nBachelor's Degree completed\nStrong written and verbal communications\nPrior experience in baseball operations or sports administration\nStrong organizational, logistical and coordination skills\nExperience working with performance and wellness data\nStrong knowledge of latest baseball development trends and data utilization\nProficiency in Microsoft Office\nAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the organization. \n\n

Education\/Experience Preferred:\n\nFluency in Spanish\nFamiliarity with VISA process\nKnowledge of the minor league baseball landscape\nKnowledge in data tool platforms\nPrior use of Teamworks and Slack\n
