This is an exciting opportunity to join IQVIA as a Rare Disease/Oncology **Inside Sales Player Coach** to drive sales for a global company which operates in the biosimilar market. Our client has commercialization partnerships with companies in Europe, Asia, and Latin America and is headquartered in the United States. Our client’s oncology product is a specific immunotherapy drug used to treat nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Their pipeline includes medications that will treat a variety of carcinomas.
The Rare Disease/Oncology **Inside Sales** **Player Coach** is a remote role. The Rare Disease/Oncology **Inside Sales Player Coach** will be expected to make outbound calls and educate via Zoom meetings to sell an oncology therapeutic to the HCP community. The **Player Coach** will have responsibilities in a variety of Sales, Customer Service and administrative functions. The **Player Coach** plays a critical role in educating prescribers, raising brand awareness, and supporting product adoption in a complex oncology landscape. This is a high-performance, fast-paced role requiring excellent communication skills, clinical acumen, digital fluency, and the ability to drive results through remote interactions across multiple time zones.
The **Inside Sales Player Coach** will also lead a team and will manage all operational aspects including, training, coaching and performance management of a team of remote oncology inside sales representatives (ISRs).
In this role you will engage targeted HCPS through daily virtual outreach using phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other approved digital platforms. Deliver clinical, product, and access-related messaging aligned with the products approved indications and our client’s strategic priorities. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with providers by understanding their practice needs and tailoring communications accordingly.
Furthermore, you will execute territory business plans in collaboration with our client’s RBDs to drive demand and achieve sales targets in alignment with our client’s objectives. You will utilize CRM and digital analytics tools to manage call plans, document interactions, and optimize engagement strategies. You will prioritize customer outreach based on data, insights, and territory segmentation.
You will maintain deep knowledge of the product, its clinical profile, disease state, competitive landscape, and oncology treatment guidelines. You will participate in ongoing training programs to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance. You will have the opportunity to partner with the client’s field sales leadership, marketing, and market access teams to ensure aligned messaging and effective pull-through strategies and share market intelligence and customer feedback with internal stakeholders to inform broader brand and sales planning. Lastly, hand off secondary, follow up, or live HCP appointment opportunities to appropriate client Oncology Account Managers.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Four-year College Degree required
+ Minimum 3 to 5 years Rare Disease, Oncology sales or sales management experience, required
+ Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships
+ Experience maintaining accurate records of all sales activities
+ Proven ability to consistently meet/exceed defined territory sales goals
+ Experience with Salesforce, Veeva preferred
+ Advanced listening, problem-solving and decision-making skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to understand and convey accurate complex product-related information to Healthcare Professionals, in an educated, reassuring, and professional manner
+ Ability to accept and quickly apply coaching and feedback to improve individual performance and customer experience
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks across multiple systems
+ High work ethic, reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work
+ Ability to be flexible as needed to meet the fluctuating business needs
+ Private, quiet, dedicated workspace required
+ Management of Inside Sales Representatives including quality, compliance, attendance adherence.
+ Development of Inside Sales Representatives and guidance in territory management and communications.
+ Manage performance reviews, personnel issues, discipline, and termination of Inside Sales Representatives
+ Player Coach shall monitor calls: to develop and motivate Inside Sales Representatives for attainment of sales objectives; to assess and monitor activity and work schedules; to monitor and manage reporting by Inside Sales Representatives, including call reporting, and sample reporting (when applicable)
+ Communicate with Client and Project Lead on regular and timely basis
+ Assist with the planning and delivery of training and periodic sales meetings
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Inside Pharma, Biotech, Rare Disease, Oncology Sales management experience
+ Prior success in 100% virtual or inside sales roles.
+ Familiarity with buy-and-bill or specialty pharmacy product models.
+ Experience working within a matrix or co-promote environment.

The potential base pay range for this role is 120 - 125k annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
