Plating Lab Team Lead

Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute the daily production activities of the plating team.Ensure work is performed efficiently and in compliance with company standards and customer specifications.Monitor and maintain process parameters for various plating operations (e.g., electroplating, anodizing, passivation).Ensure all plating operations comply with NADCAP and other industry-specific regulatory requirements.Assist in preparing for and participating in NADCAP audits, internal audits, and customer visits.Train, mentor, and support plating team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Review work orders, process instructions, and job travelers for accuracy and completeness.Conduct inspections to ensure product quality and consistency throughout the plating process.Maintain proper documentation and ensure traceability of plated parts.Identify process improvements and work collaboratively with engineering and quality teams to implement solutions.Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of hands-on plating experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.Experience with NADCAP standards and compliance is required.Familiarity with quality systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
