Responsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate our products
+ Responsible for setting up and operating all machinery and equipment used to clean and plate our products
+ Work from analysis, prints, written, and verbal instructions
+ Must be able to sequence sizes and shapes of parts with respect to rectifier control to maintain quality
+ Required to make paperwork associated with the Plating Department, such as S.P.C. recording, machining activity reports, move tickets, and labor reporting
+ Must develop the technique of visual inspection and add chromate as needed to maintain the color and brilliance
+ Be able to recognize parts requiring movement during plating and also parts requiring partial rotation
+ Must perform all material handling associated with the Plating Department
+ Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures in a manner that eliminates risk to health and the environment. Notify leadership of unsafe conditions or practices unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk.
+ Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to leadership immediately
+ Previous manufacturing experience preferred
+ Have a high degree of initiative
+ Good math and reading skills
+ Basic computer skills
+ Be able to use simple measuring instruments, such as a caliper and scale
