This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).


Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) Engineering at EA ensures game excellence through advanced software solutions. To increase innovation, at QVS, we are building the Quality Technology Platform (QTP)—an internal developer platform that reduces duplication, improves developer experience, and enables reusable, secure solutions across studios.


As Platform Engineer, reporting to the Sr Delivery Manager, you will implement pipelines and user interfaces for QTP.


Responsibilities:

You will write well-designed and tested code for pipeline modules and user interfaces

You will follow coding standards and write documentation for the tools and platform components you create

You will participate in incident resolution and postmortems for pipeline-related issues.

You will participate in design discussions and align your work and contributions to the technical vision

Qualifications:

2+ years in software development including Web Applications and APIs design

Experience with web frameworks, such as Angular or React

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab

Experience with software testing principles, such as unit testing, integration testing and performance testing

Familiarity with common scripting languages, such as Python and JavaScript

Growth Areas

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Exposure to observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing).

Interest in developer experience and reusable software design.
