Apply today and you could start as soon as this week. **As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from:** + Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area + Great benefit package options + Get matched to jobs quickly. + Competitive pay and steady schedule + The ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easy-to-use app, JobStack! **Pay Rate:** _The pay rate for this job is $17.50 -_ _$17.50_ _/ hour*_ **What you'll be doing as a Plastic Trimmer:** + Trim excess plastic material from molded parts using hand tools, knives, clippers, grinders, or rotary tools. + Remove flash, gates, runners, and sprues from injection-molded components. + Visually inspect parts for defects such as cracks, bubbles, short shots, discoloration, or warping. + Follow work instructions, blueprints, or quality specifications. + Perform light sanding, deburring, or polishing as required. + Sort acceptable and non-conforming parts and report quality issues to supervisors. + Maintain production pace to meet daily output targets. + Keep work area clean and organized according to 5S and safety standards. + Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout policies when applicable. + Record basic production or quality data **Available shifts:** Shift timings - 2nd Shift (Evening) **Job requirements:** + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Previous manufacturing, plastics, or finishing experience is a plus. + Ability to use hand tools and small power tools safely. + Strong attention to detail and quality. + Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. + Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. + Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs, depending on production needs. + Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. **Ready to take control of the way you work?** Complete our application to join the PeopleReady team today. *Hourly pay rates are a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
