Job Description:

The Process Technician – Plastic Injection Molding is responsible for overseeing and operating injection molding equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role requires hands-on technical expertise as well as proven supervisory experience to support daily operations, guide team members, and maintain production standards.

Responsibilities:

Set and change molds using forklifts; perform machine start-ups and troubleshoot injection molding processes related to equipment and raw materials.Supervise and support molding operators, providing guidance, training, and direction to ensure proper procedures and productivity standards are met.Demonstrate working knowledge of auxiliary equipment, including temperature controllers, pumps, hopper loaders, and tank systems.Monitor and adjust equipment and process parameters to optimize efficiency, quality, and cycle times.Create and maintain reports on molding processes and production output to support traceability and ensure consistent reproducibility.Troubleshoot, identify, and correct machinery and process issues; document and report mold and equipment-related problems.Assist in enforcing safety, quality, and production standards across the molding department.Control and manage plastic raw material inventory.Perform additional related duties as required to support factory operations.

Education: High School

Experience: 24 months

Minimum of 2+ years of Injection Molding Processor experience, including prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or molding environment.Strong knowledge of injection molds and molding processes.Ability to operate power and hand tools.Quality inspection experience.Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting skills.
