Job Summary:
To fabricate a variety of production parts using fiberglass, plastic, or other materials as necessary. May
be required to assist higher grade operators.
Job Responsibilities:
• Works from shop routings, oral and written instructions, and established shop practices to plan
and perform fabrication sequences from plastic and/or fiberglass parts.
• Operates power equipment such as saws, routers, sanders, drills, and buffers.
• Uses simple hand tools and some measuring instruments such as a scale, micrometer, and
caliper.
• Maintains shop records and assures production parts are fabricated according to production
schedules.
• Assures adequate supply of bonding agents, plastic and/or fiberglass parts and other required
production items by notifying supervision when reorder is necessary.
• Responsible only for own work.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education:
Requires a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
Experience:
No experience required.
Working Conditions:
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to intermittent exposure to heat, fumes, and dust.
