Your success is our success\. **Description** **Job Summary:** To fabricate a variety of production parts using fiberglass, plastic, or other materials as necessary\. May be required to assist higher grade operators\. **Job Responsibilities:** * Works from shop routings, oral and written instructions, and established shop practices to plan and perform fabrication sequences from plastic and/or fiberglass parts\. * Operates power equipment such as saws, routers, sanders, drills, and buffers\. * Uses simple hand tools and some measuring instruments such as a scale, micrometer, and caliper\. * Maintains shop records and assures production parts are fabricated according to production schedules\. * Assures adequate supply of bonding agents, plastic and/or fiberglass parts and other required production items by notifying supervision when reorder is necessary\. * Responsible only for own work\. * Performs other duties as required\. **Qualifications** **Education:** Requires a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification\. **Experience:** No experience required\. **Working Conditions:** Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to intermittent exposure to heat, fumes, and dust\. **Kansas Tax Credit:** Join Textron Aviation’s Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years\.
