Night Shift Plant Supervisor Objective
Lead and oversee plant operations while providing strategic support to senior leadership. This management role operates with significant autonomy to drive operational excellence, team performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position serves as a critical link between front-line production activities and executive decision-making.
Responsibilities Foster collaborative team culture while maintaining high standards for customer satisfaction and quality assurance Monitor and manage departmental budgets and ensure adherence to operational systems and procedures Maintain comprehensive knowledge of production processes and supervise all personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations Provide regular updates to senior management regarding production metrics, staffing requirements, operational challenges, and workforce dynamics Mentor and develop leadership capabilities within subordinate staff members Collaborate cross-functionally to address customer concerns, quality issues, and product rework initiatives to sustain operational continuity Drive strategic initiatives focused on optimal resource utilization including workforce management, equipment efficiency, and material optimization Execute additional projects and assignments as business needs arise Requirements Availability to work 2-2-3 night shift rotation with 12-hour shifts Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in manufacturing or related field Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing environments Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing safety protocols and regulatory compliance Proficiency with standardized work methodologies and process improvement techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced manufacturing environment
