Plant Sourcing Specialist
**Description** **The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.** **Job Summary** + The Sourcing Specialist carries out procurement of all materials needed for BrightView projects according to Company guidelines, for all Development projects, and select Maintenance projects as directed by management **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Ensure that all materials are acquired at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source, urgency of need, and rebate programs + Maintain relationships with Branch Managers, Project Management, and other business leaders to ensure that procurement is aligned with their objectives + Live by the organizational procurement strategy + Assist in executing against objectives for purchasing within the assigned vertical + Help identify cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities + Ensure the execution of standards, controls, policies, procedures, and performance metrics to effectively and efficiently manage the acquisition and reporting of spending across the company + Actively participate in project turnover meetings, ensure documentation is complete, and discuss assumptions + Facilitate the submittal process + Prepare & maintain master purchase orders + Coordinate with suppliers and non-Procurement stakeholders to facilitate order fulfillment + Coordinate with suppliers to resolve performance-related issues + Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely receipt and payment for materials + Assist with the execution against measurable performance metrics for procurement activities, including but not limited to the following: + Spend under rebate + Supplier performance + Supplier quality + Material shortage elimination + Buyer activity levels + Financial performance **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree + 1+ years procurement experience in landscaping, construction, or related industry + Customer service experience + Effective oral and written communication skills + Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills + Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment + Strong work ethic + Bilingual (Spanish) a plus **Physical Demands/Requirements:** + Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiers + Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the time + Operates in an office environment and requires in-person presence + Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur **Work Environment:** + Work is conducted in a professional office environment, with a collaborative and dynamic team setting, and requires in-person presence **_BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer._** **_This job description is subject to change at any time._** **_BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
