ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Plant Service Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for implementing various manufacturing platforms used for production in both domestic and international locations. You will act as the project manager for some projects and participate in the implementation on the plant floor in many others. Key Responsibilities
Perform and understand AutoCAD/Solidworks drawings and functions while maintaining mechanical and electrical drawing filesLead lean Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts (A3, 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams) to improve process and equipment reliabilityDevelop plant layouts with Project Engineering supportProvide multi-plant assistance and regional supportRoutinely provide hands-on equipment and process troubleshooting and trainingProvide leadership support for equipment installationsInstall new production linesSupport Engineering on R&D of new equipment and processesProject managementTravel > 75%. Valid driver's license and passport requiredThe main duties of this engineer will include installing, troubleshooting, and upgrading chillers, cooling towers, and pump decQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred; 2-yr Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plastics acceptable with experienceAt least five years in a manufacturing environmentSkills & Competencies
Experience with plastic extrusion or injection moldingFamiliarity with Lean processes and Continuous Improvement toolsStrong project management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting aptitudeProficient in AutoCADAbility to work autonomously and with minimal supervisionAbility to work within a team environmentPhysical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Work safely in and around plant equipmentWork within plant climate conditionsAbility to perform physical labor for extended periods in temperature extremesPosition requires a full range of body motion, including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting, and the ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehiclesAbility to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours
