Onsite -This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Hamtramck Mi on a full-time basis.
The Role: Planning Administrator will own the current and future plant operations planning and support the execution of the plans. As the Planning Manager, you will provide mentorship and guidance to department business managers. This requires close coordination with the launch and shop leadership team. Individual must be capable of working with little direction, and have a good understanding of the build process throughout the plant. Success in this role will have this individual working closely with internal and external cross functional teams.

Champion plant change management processProvide leadership business managers and planners in the departmentDevelop future operation plans to align with leadership strategy and coordinate executionApplies Plant knowledge, relationships and authority to “get things done”Support plant leadership with administrative functions as vital, such as orientation coordination, event scheduling and coordination, and others.Support launch team in developing and implementing Manufacturing Validation Builds and Acceleration plansAnalyze the impact of changes and keep the PTR System invigoratedPlan and Coordinate model year changes in collaboration with launch teamEnable plant Planning Team efficiency with department planners and business managers
