Job Description: Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term
planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.
Employee Engagement and Talent Development. Drive the creation and deployment of Continuous Improvement initiatives which enable functional areas and the site to meet or exceed its Operating plan Lead the Supply Planning portion of the BU’s Sales & Operations Planning process, looking out 18-24 months and planning the site’s needs for labor and machine capacity, supplier capacity, and drive rigorous scenario planning to ensure end to end supply chain readiness in support of the business and customers What your background should look like Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Business required Minimum 10 years’ experience leading operations and with a demonstrated track record of leading successful site transformations. Minimum 5 years of management experience required General project leadership experience Solid working knowledge of plant P&L’s and overall financial acumen Lean leadership is essential with six sigma experience a plus Experience working with multiple customers and suppliers in a low volume high mix industry This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $162,400 - $203,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
