Our client is a global leader in aerospace component manufacturing, specializes in high-precision components for engine and airframe applications. The local facilities play vital role in the global supply chain, with a strong focus on work safety, engineering excellence, stringent quality compliance, advanced machining, special processes such as plasma, heat and chemical treatment.
We are assisting them to search for a potential Plant Manager to lead the end-to-end manufacturing operations of a dynamically high-tech aerospace facility. This role carries full site leadership responsibility with direct oversight of Operations, Quality, and Engineering functions. The successful candidate will drive strategic execution, enhance operational performance, and ensure the facility meets production, technical, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Executive Director, you will be providing overall leadership and direction for Manufacturing Operations, Quality Assurance, and Engineering team across multiple sites.
Develop and execute strategic plans that align production output with business goals, customer demands, and quality expectations.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring effective resource planning, workflow optimization, and on-time delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies to improve productivity, yield, and cost efficiency.
Ensure full compliance with aerospace regulatory standards such as AS9100, NADCAP, FAA/EASA requirements, and customer-specific audits.
Lead and collaborate with Engineering on process improvements, new product introductions, and technical problem resolution.
Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and safety across all departments.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Supply Chain to support organizational priorities and performance.
Develop and mentor department leaders to ensure strong succession planning and organizational capability.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering (MBA or postgraduate management qualification preferred).
10+ years of progressive leadership in aerospace or precision manufacturing, with site-level or departmental P&L responsibility.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across operations, quality, and engineering functions.
Strong background in production systems, quality frameworks, root cause analysis, and process engineering.
Experience working in a highly regulated environment with strong familiarity with aerospace standards and customer requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels.
