Overall responsibility and management of the facility. The role will report to the Northeast Region Operations Manager. Core duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Management of employees
Hiring, coaching, training, safety & discipline
Employee Development
Management and review of associates expense
Time keeping and approval
Leave of absences
Management of day to day operations
Outbound delivery schedules
Inbound product supply
Plant and vehicle maintenance
Overall financial management for the plant
Indepth monthly P&L analysis
Airgas Dashboard & Plant KPI reviews
Creating continuous flow of plant efficiencies
Assist in budgeting budget planning and capital project planning.
Management of safety and efficient plant operations.
Creating a culture of safe work environment
Lead safety meetings at the facility
Responsibility for Quality Assurance
Maintaining, reviewing and creating SOP’s
PSM/RMP management
Responsible for Lockout Tag and EC&IP’s.
Responsibility of Health and Safety management of the facility
Responsibility and review of TDG Hours of Service
Efficiently distribute driver hours minimizing overtime
Project management
Initiating projects, Retaining estimates, scheduling contractors, contractor safety, invoice submitting, etc
Collaboration with engineering
Interact with Fleet Manager and Premier Fleet Service
Maintain Fleet Maintenance
Manage associate expenses to stay within company policy

6+ years professional work experience including a supervisory role.
Bachelor Degree required or equivalent experience
Knowledge of Safety and Regulatory Compliance Including TDG & Ministry of Environment.
Experience with hazardous material with knowledge in hazmat regulations.
Knowledge of industrial chemical distribution or logistics including inventory management preferred.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Google platform including experience with Sheets.
Good oral and writing skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. Fluent in the English language.
Good organizational skills.
Communication skills in order to effectively communicate with branch associates and all levels of management within Airgas.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.
Willingness to travel up to 50%
