Role Overview

Project Management: Apply project management principles to oversee all CAPEX/OPEX funded projects, ensuring integration, scope, risk, cost, schedule, resource, procurement, stakeholder, and quality management from Gate 0 to Commissioning. Engineering Design/Assessments: Utilize engineering principles to address performance issues related to the crusher, overland conveyor, and mill, focusing on production improvement and maintenance. Safety Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on safety, health, and environmental compliance by adhering to company policies. Team Leadership: Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide leadership in the absence of the Project Superintendent.

Skills & Qualifications

Engineering Management: Proficient in managing engineering projects and teams. Mechanical Design: Strong skills in mechanical design and assessments. Mechanical Engineering: In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and integrity. Troubleshooting: Expertise in mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving. AutoCAD Proficiency: Skilled in using AutoCAD for design purposes. SMP Knowledge: Familiarity with Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) systems.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Structural or Mechanical Preferred). Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the Mining or resource industry. Experience with process improvement projects in the mining/oil and gas industry is desirable. Current PNG Class 6 Driving Licence.
