The Plant Director is responsible managing, planning and coordinating the main functions of Creilshain Ceramic Plant organization, including operations and productions, financial reports, customers agreements and managing HR policies in order to achieve strategic goals.

Ongoing management, setting of operational goals for department managers/leaders and subordinate employees. Initiating and implementing new activities and changes in organizations, verifying and introducing new procedures and systems for the operation of the enterprise and for the management level. Coordination of activities and supervision of the performance of  tasks by supervisors of individual organizational units and employees. Supporting and developing a team of management staff and directly supervised employees. Providing resources necessary for the efficient implementation of processes resulting from the quality management system.

This is an onsite position that is part of the global operations organization and will be located in Crailsheim, Germany.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Deploy site goals and targets by aligning global targets for team.

Manage full plant processes, project management, and project execution by working with site team and cross site cooperation mainly within EMEA region but as well Globally.

Align product settings make to order or available on stock, close cooperation with integrated supply chain.

Close cooperation with Business Unit team for Energy +

Assign SMART goals to teams, align them globally working all necessary departments.

The essential requirements of the job include:

University degree, preferable in Engineering

Economics or MBA Upper intermediate education level acceptable If managerial experience is delivered.

At least 5 years at a managerial position in an international production company

Production enterprise management and project lead.

English - advanced level.

5+ years of working with ERP Systems based on MRP.

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Knowledge of the Global Marketplace with experience ideally in filtration and separation processes or related disciplines.

Experience in developing business strategy, and leading strategic initiatives in support of functional and business objectives.

Good record of KPIs improvement, on-time delivery, lead time, cost and Inventory reduction, Supplier development, etc.

Leadership predisposition, resistance to stress, highly skilled in communication, basic knowledge of ISO and QSR norms, experienced with Lean Manufacturing.
