Direct the financial affairs of multiple manufacturing sites, preparing financial analysis of operations — including interim and financial statements with supporting schedules — to provide guidance and decision support to site and corporate leadership. Maintain accounting systems and adhere to established policies for recordkeeping, transaction accuracy, and asset safeguarding in accordance with GAAP/IFRS principles. Coordinate and direct budget preparation, financial forecasting, planning and control procedures, variance reporting, and KPI tracking. Oversee two finance support staff analysts.
Responsibilities
+ Establish and maintain accounting policies and prepare financial reports covering income, expenses, and earnings across historical, current, and projected periods.
+ Serve as a strategic finance partner to site managers, driving revenue growth and margin improvement.
+ Develop rolling three-month forecasts and updated annual projections for all assigned locations.
+ Direct preparation of plant-level and customer-level P&L reporting.
+ Analyze and document variances between actual results and forecasts, ensuring leadership understands key drivers and takes appropriate action.
+ Track and analyze project and program costs — including R&D, engineering labor, materials, and related expenses — investigating variances and anomalies.
+ Recommend budget and business plan adjustments in response to evolving business conditions.
+ Partner with plant leadership to deliver financial insights that support operational and financial goals.
+ Manage production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and operational reports, including capacity analysis, cost savings tracking, and KPI reviews.
+ Strengthen cross-functional collaboration between finance and operations teams.
+ Champion a cost-conscious culture aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
+ Collaborate with corporate accounting on month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and ongoing finance operations.
+ Oversee preparation and timely submission of monthly financial statements and management reports to corporate finance.
+ Direct periodic financial analysis and reporting, including inventory valuation, revenue recognition, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities.
+ Manage administrative, financial, and operational systems for assigned sites.
+ Collaborate with production control teams to support quarterly physical inventory counts.
+ Ensure accounting and financial controls meet established company standards.
+ Lead financial analysis supporting business decisions on capital investments, staffing, cost drivers, process improvements, product costing, and pricing.
+ Review and approve operating supply and MRO purchase requisitions for assigned locations.
+ Support internal and external audit activities.
+ Present plant and customer performance updates in monthly leadership meetings.
+ Mentor and develop finance support staff.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in accounting, month-end processes, general ledger management, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
+ Experience with SAP and other ERP or business operations platforms.
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
+ Three to five years of accounting experience in a private industry setting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
+ Minimum of two years of supervisory or managerial experience.
+ Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and best practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment within the manufacturing industry, with a hybrid schedule requiring 2–3 days onsite per week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
