Description
We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to join our team in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee financial operations for a manufacturing facility, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will collaborate with plant leadership to drive strategic initiatives, maintain positive employee relations, and provide actionable financial insights.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports to forecast business activity and evaluate operational expenses.
• Lead the development and review of budgets, ensuring proposals are supported by accurate documentation.
• Advise management on insurance coverage to mitigate property losses and liabilities.
• Oversee depreciation calculations for capital assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reviews.
• Manage the Finance Department, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Partner with plant leadership to establish strategic goals and allocate resources effectively.
• Support capital project financial tracking and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Review production variances and material loss reports, offering actionable insights to management.
• Participate in plant initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and financial planning.
• Proficiency in SAP CO-PA, SAP CO, and other financial systems.
• Advanced skills in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical expertise.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
