Kforce's client, a privately held NY Jersey-area manufacturing company, is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and a hands-on approach to operational excellence. Duties: * Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting across domestic and international entities * Manage accounting operations including A/R, A/P, G/L, inventory, and revenue recognition * Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic financial decisions and operational improvements * Oversee monthly closings, audits, and compliance with SOX and US GAAP * Provide proactive financial consultation to departmental leaders * Maintain confidentiality and uphold internal controls * Proven supervisory experience with the ability to train, delegate, and develop staff * Assertive and confident in managing priorities within a matrixed environment * Experience in small to mid-sized companies preferred * Strong background in SOX/internal controls and financial consolidation
