Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for a Plant Controller to join their finance team in Jacksonville, TX. This role will help support all aspects of finance and accounting, as well as the distribution center in Dallas, TX. A successful candidate will assist the finance and operations teams in accurately tracking and reporting on financial data, allowing the business to accurately track performance against targets, working with operations to manage capital expenditures, and ultimately make data-driven decisions.  Perform month end close procedures  Prepare budget and periodic forecasts  Validate and approve Plant CapEx  Validate and approve continuous improvement saving initiatives  Perform cost accounting functions  Implement / improve cost accounting practices and coordinate system configurations  Support corporate and plant management regarding reporting needs and activities  Assist with margin analysis, distribution cost analysis, annual and cycle count inventories  Assist with periodic fixed assets physical inventories and coordinate new assets tagging procedures  Monitor plant financial performance and reporting  Assist with operations scorecard maintenance  Perform ad hoc plant projects and analyses Compensation Range: 120-130k Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law. Skills and Requirements 7-10 years of experience as a Plant Controller or similar.  5+ years of experience with cost accounting -- interacting with plant floor, costing/analysis, etc.  Understanding of controlling systems, cost estimating systems, financial measurements and evaluation techniques and pricing strategies.  Experienced and familiar with major ERP functionality (SAP or Oracle preferred, or M1 which is specific to manufacturing). The company will be going through an ERP transition/migration from M1 to SAP down the road.  Bachelors degree in finance/accounting or similar. ERP migration experience nice to have. Experience working in a manufacturing and/or plant floor environment.
