Charged with managing all finance operations and financial decision support at Baxter's manufacturing location. This role holds a vital position within the facility’s Senior Leadership Team. Responsibilities include offering proactive decision assistance, financial insight, and solutions to support the plant in meeting its targets. Develop policies and procedures for reporting and internal controls, and lead the site in accomplishing reporting and planning duties.
What you'll be doingPartner across the plant to drive cost improvements and achieve financial objectives.Lead the comprehensive Manufacturing Plant planning and reporting processes - quarterly forecasts, operating plans, monthly spending analysis, and weekly estimates to plans/forecasts.Provide proactive leadership for all operating forecast and estimate updates throughout the year as well as the annual operating plan and strategic plan.Work cross-functionally to identify and develop actions to recover financial misses.Ensure adherence to internal controls, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Baxter Financial Policies and Procedures.Provide financial modeling/business decision support on all plant investments and new business initiatives.Ensure that decision support services are provided to other departments.Support plant capacity, VIP initiatives, and capital spending reviews/analysis.What you'll bringBachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or related fields.Demonstration of key finance proficiencies and qualifications and solid previous experience with emphasis in cost accounting and budgeting.Decisive leadership, with ability to generate ideas, develop alternatives, rapidly decide upon the best course of action, and drive implementation of that decision.Strong negotiation, interpersonal communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.Advanced English.Spanish language skills - desirable.Advanced Excel.Comfortable working in ERP software (JDE) and experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.Availability for a hybrid model - 3-4 days on-site at the plant.Equal Employment Opportunity
