Job Title: Plant Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Join our team as a Plant Administrative Assistant where you will play a crucial role in managing various administrative and operational tasks within the plant.Your contributions will be vital to the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations.

Responsibilities

Operate the scale for weighing company, customer, and third-party trucks accurately.Process vendor invoices and purchase orders with precision.Provide administrative support to plant management.Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics.Track finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours.Purchase parts and safety supplies as needed.Maintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports.Handle month-end accruals and reporting.Process personnel changes and maintain comprehensive files.Manage timekeeping using Kronos.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in administrative assistance and payroll processing.Strong customer service and accounts payable skills.Experience with office management, data entry, and administrative support.Knowledge of invoicing and experience with Kronos and Oracle.Basic proficiency in Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2-3 years of relevant experience.Experience in payroll processing for a team of 13 people.Familiarity with Payroll ERP such as KRONOS is preferred but not required.Understanding of Accounting ERP systems like Oracle or JD Edwards.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM. You will be part of a tight-knit team dedicated to supporting the plant's operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
