Job Title: Plant Administrative Assistant
Job Description

As a Plant Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing various administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of the plant. You will be responsible for processing vendor invoices and purchase orders, supporting plant management with administrative tasks, and managing payroll and production statistics. Your role will also involve tracking inventory, equipment utilization, and plant costs.

ResponsibilitiesOperate the scale for weighing company, customer, and third-party trucks.Process vendor invoices and purchase orders efficiently.Provide administrative support for plant management.Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics accurately.Track finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours.Purchase necessary parts and safety supplies.Maintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports.Handle month-end accruals and reporting.Process personnel changes and maintain employee files.Manage timekeeping using Kronos.Essential Skills2-3 years of experience in a similar role.Experience with payroll processing for a team of 13 people.Proficiency in administrative assistance, accounts payable, and customer service.Familiarity with office management and data entry.Experience with KRONOS for payroll (preferred, not required).Experience with Accounting ERP systems like Oracle or JD Edwards.Basic skills in Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Work Environment

The position is fully onsite, Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2 PM. You will be part of a very tight-knit team, working collaboratively to ensure the plant operates smoothly and efficiently.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
