Plant Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Join our team and contribute to the efficient operation of our plant. You will play a crucial role in weighing trucks, processing invoices and purchase orders, and providing administrative support to plant management. You will also be responsible for compiling, entering, and reporting payroll and production statistics, tracking inventory and costs, purchasing parts and supplies, and maintaining important records.

ResponsibilitiesOperate the scale for weighing company, customer, and third-party trucks.Process vendor invoices and purchase orders efficiently.Provide comprehensive administrative support to plant management.Compile, enter, and report payroll and production statistics accurately.Track finished goods inventory, equipment utilization, plant costs, and labor hours.Purchase necessary parts and safety supplies.Maintain fuel inventory and equipment downtime reports.Conduct month-end accruals and reporting.Process personnel changes and maintain files diligently.Manage timekeeping in Kronos.Essential SkillsProficiency in administrative assistance.Experience with accounts payable.Strong customer service skills.Office management capabilities.Data entry proficiency.Familiarity with Kronos.Experience with Oracle or JD Edwards.Additional Skills & Qualifications2-3 years of relevant experience.Experience in payroll processing for a team of 13 people.Preferred experience with Payroll ERP: KRONOS.Basic Excel skills.Work Environment

This role is fully onsite, with work hours from Monday to Friday, either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. You will be part of a very tight-knit team committed to collaboration and success.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
