*subject to local tax (if applicable) and less any applicable salary due under any relevant Local Employment Contract.
As the project moves beyond the initial mobilisation phase, your contract will be revised within the next three months to align with GardaWorld’s standard terms. This will include a reduction to your current monthly rate to reflect the long-term pay structure for the project and to bring it in line with country and industry norms. In addition, the current 40-day Home Leave cycle will be replaced by a formal rotational contract, with clearly defined on duty and off duty periods.
Onboarding Fee
USD $218.00 per month, to be paid in arrears.

Visa Requirements
The Company shall be responsible and liable for the multi-entry visa cost as required to deliver the Services. Any visa costs incurred by the Contractor shall be reimbursed.
Package
GardaWorld will provide the Independent Contractor with appropriate accommodation, insurance, flights, and life support while on duty.
Food, Accommodation and General Expenses:
The company will provide the Contractor with food, drink, transportation, and accommodation as necessary whilst the Contractor is engaged in a project.
If Company is unable to provide the Contractor with food, accommodation, and transportation, except as set forth below for inbound and outbound travel to the project location, Company shall either provide a per diem at an agreed rate or reimburse to the Contractor for any travelling, hotel and other expenses reasonably incurred by him in the proper performance of his duties under this Agreement. In the case of the latter, the Contractor must provide Company with such vouchers and receipts or other evidence of actual payment of such expenses as Company may reasonably require. The Contractor shall seek the prior approval by Company for any individual expenses incurred under this Agreement.
Flight Package
GardaWorld will provide an economy class return ticket per rotation to the project location from a hub airport as close as reasonably practicable to the Contractor’s declared home address.
The Contractor will be asked to declare their preferences for a primary, secondary, and tertiary hub airport from the GardaWorld hub list at the commencement of their engagement. Where possible and commercially acceptable, GardaWorld will look to book travel to and from one of the preferred hubs.
The Contractor will be responsible for any travel arrangements between the hub airport and their home address. The Company will pay for any transfers from the airport near the project location or any other intermediate landing location to the Consultant’s accommodation at the project.

Role Requirements
Skills & Competencies:
Strong project management and coordination skills. Excellent analytical and planning abilities with attention to detail. Proven ability to write, edit, and maintain operational documentation. Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with performance tracking tools, readiness reporting, and risk registers. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a high-pressure environment.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, operations, or project/program management in a security, military, or logistics environment. Demonstrated experience writing and managing SOPs, training plans, and performance matrices. Previous experience in a high-risk or international operational environment. Strong written and spoken English. Able to work in remote and austere conditions for extended periods. Valid UK Category C or C1 Driver’s License (for operation of B6 armoured vehicles) or equivalent international license.
Desirable:
Military, government, or security contractor background with planning or operations experience. Formal qualifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP). Experience with FCDO, US DoD, or other government contracting environments. Familiarity with ISO standards, audit preparation, and quality assurance systems. Experience managing cross-departmental coordination in large projects. Working knowledge of training and development systems (e.g., LMS platforms, training calendars). First Aid certification or other relevant HSE training. (Level 3 FPOS or FREC).Services
Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the position of Plans and Programs Manager, and include, but are not limited to, the planning, coordination, and oversight of operational programs, training plans, compliance tracking, and reporting mechanisms that directly support mission objectives and contract deliverables at Balad, Iraq. The Contractor will act as a key advisor and facilitator between project management, operational departments, and client representatives to ensure alignment with strategic goals, regulatory standards, and project SOPs.
Services the Contractor can expect to carry out would include:
Developing, maintaining, and implementing operational plans, schedules, and policies across departments in alignment with contract requirements. Coordinating with functional leads (e.g., Guard Force, ERT, ESS, Logistics) to ensure programs are delivered effectively and on time. Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs, operational documentation, and contingency plans. Managing training plans, readiness rosters, certification matrices, and ensuring all personnel meet deployment and role-specific requirements. Overseeing performance metrics and compliance indicators to ensure contract KPIs and quality assurance standards are met. Liaising with client representatives to report on program performance, planning milestones, and changes to operational deliverables. Supporting risk management planning, scenario development, and operational resilience strategies. Leading internal audits and contributing to external inspections as required. Maintaining digital and physical records in line with data security and reporting requirements. Advising senior leadership on operational enhancements, resource needs, and capability development. Undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by GardaWorld management in accordance with contractual and project needs.

The Plans and Programs Manager plays a central role in integrating strategy with day-to-day operations, ensuring the seamless execution of core functions across the site.
