Primary Responsibilities

The Planogram Analyst is a key asset to KeHE’s Marketing Team. This position is responsible for supporting the Sr. Manager and Director of Sales in the development of customer recommendations and presentations. This position will also engage and coordinate the efforts of key stakeholders and subject matter experts to meet the scope & deadlines of projects. Essential Functions Working cross functionally with the retailer category growth management and assortment team Develop, maintain, and update planograms; review planogram placements for accuracy  Identify product trends specific to chain retailers by analyzing:Syndicated data (SPINS, IRI)KeHE dataDemographic data (ShopperSights)Consumer data (MintelResearch quantitative information to support innovative merchandising solutionsCompile actionable qualitative information to develop customer solutionsUtilize syndicated data portals to mine and extract information for customer presentationsCreate demographic clustering to determine highest potential customer store opportunitiesAnalyze customer assortment to determine voids & establish a priority rankingManage project to ensure timelines, progress & deliverables are clearly communicated & completedAssemble & proof final presentations for accuracy & consistencyEvaluate past performance of presentations & projects to ensure ROI potential is maximizedDevelop and support tracking of assortment changes and analyze planogram success.Support other functional groups, such as the account management team on an as needed basis Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field of study preferred; or equivalent of work experienceA minimum of two years of relative experience in quantitative sales & general business analysisProficient with JDA (Blue Yonder/JDA) space planning software

 

Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

Working knowledge of POGs and POGs processExperience with grocery category management, the consumer package goods industry, and/or the grocery industry are a plus.Experience with syndicated data, specifically SPINSWillingness to take initiative on projects with minimal supervision.Ability to effectively communicate findings & recommendations in writing to internal audiences as well as brokers and customers.Demonstrated skill & competency with all Microsoft Office software.Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced business environment.Capacity to learn & process quickly.Possess a sense of urgency & attention to accuracy & detail.Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously & often with time conflicting pressures.Demonstrated ability & willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.Ability & willingness to travel (about 10-15%).
