This pivotal role is designed for a leader who will orchestrate the intricate balance of production planning by overseeing a team of operations planning coordinators. Reporting to the US supply planning manager, you will be the driving force behind the development of production planning & material management strategies and timelines that are in harmony with our commitment to delivering flawless execution. Your expertise will be instrumental in streamlining our supply chain, from scheduling to inventory management, guaranteeing that deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. **Core Responsibilities:** + Oversee the master planning, material planning, and detailed production scheduling within our manufacturing site as part of our planning tower + Develops planning strategies that best leverage our manufacturing sites assets and support the overall site productivity and efficiency + Ensure that planners are adopting standardized processes established by the US supply planning manager,and global center of excellence + Guide the team to ensure comprehensive production plans and schedules that harmonize with plant capacities, production specifications, and market demands + Strategize and establish long-term capacities through cross-functional disciplines with supply network design and the US supply planning manager,; own rough cut capacity planning + Support escalations and collaboration in the weekly Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) process, working with Production Planners and Material Planners to generate scenarios to address exceptions + Support the introduction of new products within the manufacturing site through partnership with the new product commercialization team + Collaborate intimately with the Production Planners and Materials Planners for daily adjustments, exception management, and thorough root cause analysis of discrepancies + Regular review of 2 Key Performance Indicators and understanding from planning teams root cause for misses, guiding resolution plans to close gaps in next cycle + Ensuring planners are leveraging our advanced planning system to drive processes and managing master and transactional data updates in a timely manner to drive accurate and effective plans + Champion safety and quality standards in accordance with Colgate’s policies, aiming to surpass organizational expectations + Support the inventory accrual and write off process for any obsolete inventory + Conduct regular meetings, supporting production exceptions with internal stakeholders to align on projected manufacturing needs and timely delivery **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline + 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, with a strong focus on production planning and material management. + Demonstrated leadership experience in Operations or Planning teams with a proven track record of success **Preferred Requirements** + Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields + Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or related fields **Compensation and Benefits** Salary Range $74,400 - $117,500 USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
