The purpose of this role is to Support the target setting & budgeting process and business planning from all commercial department: Marketing, Sales & Distribution and Brand and Ensure a permanent monitoring and advising of the performances to support the commercial decision making process
Key accountabilities:1. Thought leader on the commercial budgeting and business planning process for subscribers, revenue, traffic and all relevant KPIs / dimensions
2. Designing and implementation of budgeting and forecasting robust tools for the CBU on all 3 pillars : Marketing, Sales & Distribution;
3. Build the detailed CBU yearly budget based on a robust bottom up approach including all relevant dimension (region, profile, segment, product).
4. Ensure the daily monitoring and regular reforecast of commercial performances based on robust assumptions, bottom-up approach and including the overall environment outlooks (LRP, 2+10, 5+7, 9+3)
5. Provide regular assessments, analysis and recommendations on the commercial performances to secure the revenue and reach the budgeted target
6. Be the interface between the commercial department and the rest of the company on the budget concerns and assist business partners on the budget process
7. Collaborate with business leads to develop, automate and maintain on-going and ad-hoc reports/analysis to track key performance metrics versus targets, and support process improvement;
8. Proactively correlate, synthesize and interpret operational, qualitative and quantitative data to identify key insights, trends, opportunities and/or threats form the commercial performances;
• Significant and proven experience (4 years at least) in reporting, analytics, budgeting within marketing/product team.
• Relevant experience in telecommunications industry
• Ability to multi-task and be proactive & independent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining tools
• Deep knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity in business intelligence software (IBM Cognos, -, etc) and reporting setup
• Advanced knowledge of database extraction and data manipulation using SQL (Knowledge of PL SQL will be an advantage) : preferred.
• Strong quantitative skills and the ability to correlate both qualitative and quantitative data to produce actionable insights
• Experience with marketing, sales, customer demographic analytics
• Able to proactively work independently while managing/prioritizing multiple tasks
Strong interpersonal skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to handle high pressure deadlines
• Must speak French and English
Education:
• University degree in Economics / Statistics/Mathematics/Finance/Business Administration or related area required.
