Position Responsibilities

Inventory planning, replenishment, and management. Production scheduling. The position will support the Toledo manufacturing operations with occasional travel required. This position reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain and Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of MRP systems and high level SAP proficiency.Procurement – global sourcing of machine components and third-party machinesPlanning for TASKI, NSS, & Twister product portfolioManaging suppliers and over 10,000 SKUsSystem and process improvements, process design, transformation, innovations launches, SAPManage team of 3 professionals, including procurement and logisticsMonitor open purchase orders for potential delivery delays.  Communicate to production supervisor critical delays that may impact productionCreate new purchase orders based off MRP runs.  Run and process MRP Exception report. Update requirements based on production schedule and material needsUpdate and maintain master data settings in SAPConvey quality issues and maintain the vendor corrective action process.Assist in communicating and resolving material receipt issues (price, quantity and or quality discrepancies)Update and maintain supplier information in SAPSupport manufacturing by ensuring that supplied components are available based on manufacturing schedule.Manage inventory to positively affect the company turn target.  Inventory is cashConnect with new suppliers that have a scope of business that aligns with our strategy.  Due diligence research on prospective suppliers. Complete NDA to start the RFQ process and share drawings.  Add engineering associates in discussions as neededSchedule periodic supplier visits.  Evaluate processes, quality, and safety.  Provide points of strength and identify improvements that need to be achieved.  The objective is to maintain relationships with suppliers and provide two-way communicationWill work with cross functional departments: engineering, production, customer service and accounting.  Maintain positive, cordial and business relationship

Preferred Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or 5yrs experience in planning and procurementProficient with Microsoft Office skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSAP experience strongly preferredKnowledge of VAVE and Lean methodologies

The expected compensation range for this position is between $83,500.00 and $139,100.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
