Planning MICE Engineer

Location: Perth, Western Australia (with regular site visits to Karratha Gas Plant)
Assignment Type: Contract (12 Months)
Roster: Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours/day
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Planning MICE Engineer to join the Planning Team supporting the Karratha Gas Plant (KGP). This Perth-based role offers regular travel to site and an exciting opportunity to further develop your engineering and planning skills in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

You will work alongside skilled professionals to develop and deliver practical and prioritized maintenance solutions, helping to manage asset risk and ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and select appropriate Inspection and Fabric Maintenance work scopes for maintenance campaigns using sound engineering judgment.

Provide engineering support for planned maintenance, including Management of Change (MOC) and Short-Term Change (STC) workpacks.

Contribute to Capex projects and Process Safety Risk Assessment (PSRA) remediation efforts.

Optimize maintenance strategies aligned with the Asset Reference Plan (ARP).

Address engineering queries related to recurring or corrective workflows.

Screen maintenance notifications in line with relevant procedures when delegated.

Manage MICE-related Safety & Environmental Critical Elements, ensuring compliance with asset management and planning processes.

Participate in incident investigations and reporting as per HSE procedures.

Capture and incorporate feedback from site-based Execution Engineering teams, identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Provide backfill support for MICE engineering coverage as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in Inspection Engineering or related discipline.

Demonstrated attainment of “ENG” competency per internal Engineering Management procedures.

PSM knowledge level competency (achieved or eligible) as outlined in relevant standards.

Solid understanding of maintenance strategy, MOC, risk assessment, and asset integrity.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
