Job Description:

Parsons are seeking a highly experienced Planning Manager to lead and manage all planning, scheduling, and time management activities.

This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining realistic, integrated, and risk-informed schedules that support effective decision-making, proactive risk management, and predictable delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Develop and implement the program-wide planning and scheduling strategy.Establish planning standards, methodologies, and governance processes across all projects and contractors.Define schedule approval processes, baseline management, and change control protocols.Develop, maintain, and control the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).Ensure alignment of design, procurement, construction, systems integration, testing & commissioning and handover activities.Manage logic, sequencing, and interfaces across multiple contractors and stakeholders.Monitor progress against approved baselines and identify trends, variances, and risks.Produce reliable forecasts of milestone achievement and program completion.Develop and coordinate recovery, acceleration, and mitigation plans where required.Manage critical schedule interfacesSupport schedule risk analysis, critical path analysis, and mitigation planning.Provide early warning of potential impacts to regulatory approvals, operational readiness, and handover milestones.Prepare detailed planning reports, narratives, and dashboards for senior leadership and the client.Clearly communicate schedule risks, assumptions, and mitigation actions.Support executive decision-making with scenario and impact analysis.Ensure integrity and quality of schedule data within Primavera P6.Lead and mentor planners and scheduling engineers.Drive continuous improvement in planning tools, processes, and capability.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.Minimum 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling for major infrastructure projects.Proven experience operating in a delivery partner or client-side environment.Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 and integrated master scheduling.Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.Knowledge of schedule risk analysis and forensic planning techniques.
