Planning Manager

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Manager to join our team! In this role, you will oversee and coordinate all planning activities within the organization, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in project management.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop Planning Strategies: Create and implement effective planning strategies and processes to ensure project success.Coordinate with Departments: Work with different departments to align project goals and resources, ensuring smooth execution.Monitor Project Progress: Track the progress of projects, identify potential issues, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on schedule.Prepare Reports: Generate and present detailed reports on project status, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.Manage Planning Team: Lead, mentor, and develop the planning team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Ensure Compliance: Ensure all planning activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with planning and project execution.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with certification in planning and scheduling of projects and in using Primavera applications (Primavera Project Management /P6 and Primavera Contract Management / Expedition) and cost Engineering.Experience in infrastructure projects such as bridges, roads, drainage, sewer, PW, etc.Minimum of 18 years of experience in planning, project management, or a related role.Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.Proficient PC skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Primavera Project Management /P6 and Primavera Contract Management / Expedition, and Power BI.Must have good command of English both written and spoken, with excellent communication and presentation skills.MMUP is a must.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
