 We are hiring a Planning and Scheduling Analyst at our Aurora, CO facility!

 

 As a Planning and Scheduling Analyst you will support the Planning Department.  You will collect, analyze, summarize, and report information in an accurate and efficient manner.

 

“Your day-to-day”

 

 Primary Responsibility:

Creation and continuous analysis of the weekly primary and secondary production scheduling of the entire plant while working collaboratively with all departments to meet business needs.  In addition, must manage our finished goods inventories across all warehouses.

 

Master Production Scheduling:

Responsible for managing WIP Inventory to an agreed upon levelResponsible for managing Finished Goods inventory to an agreed upon levelCreation of efficient plans for both primary and secondary production that are based on sales forecasts and current demand needs of the businessAnalyze production schedules daily and adjust as necessary, when they are affected by changes in raw material, equipment, or personnelWorks closely with purchasing to ensure sufficient material is on hand to meet schedules and / also with production in ensuring we align on production output expectations.Analyze inventory status daily to ensure proper inventory availability to an agreed upon service level targetMaintains frequent contact with nearly all areas of Aurora facility in order to coordinate and time activities of many unrelated areasCommunicate with Order Management and Marketing teams on the beginning and end of production for promotional wavesCollaborate with Sales and Marketing to set production timelines on promotional itemsCommunicate with Order Management on any issues, completions, over / under production of each promotional item so that they can adjust as neededProvide recommendation to Planning Manager for when over time or scheduled down days are needed to keep inventory levels at an agreed upon level and maintenance projects fulfilledUnderstand factory operations to create effective and efficient production plans for both primary and secondary productionKnow all rules and regulations of production including, but not limit to flavor orders, product specifications, formulas, batch sizes, etc.Responsible for the accuracy and timelines of MPS and MRP runsBe cross trained across all categoriesBe in-tuned of any special projects going on within planning across any categoryBe aware of maintenance schedule updates to ensure adequate production planningEnsure all planning sheets are up to date and accurateCreation of production forecasts for production / manufacturing / support services teams to reviewStay up to date on product holds or anything that needs to be reworked into the schedule to make necessary changes to plansDaily review of production jobs in the system to ensure the system matches the Situation reports from the production managers, if not, a follow up with management is requiredDaily / weekly review of system to ensure all data is accurate and no unused production jobs are lingering in the systemCover vacations and leaves as neededPerform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as directed by the Planning ManagerServe as coverage for Planning Manager as neededRecommend, initiate, and conduct special projects as requestedAssists with compiling, developing and monitoring the annual budget

 

Warehouse Inventory Management

 

Responsible for planning daily warehouse transfers to ensure timely shipments from Distribution Centers to customersPrepare weekly truck schedule for outside Distribution Centers and ensure inventory is evenly balancesDaily review of truckload scheduled to ensure timely communication of IF / WHEN a truck needs to be added or taken away from the schedule due to inventory / sales changesResponsible for auditing finished goods returns to Distribution Centers and redistribution of inventoryAccountable for finished goods service level

 

Who We’re Looking For

 

College degree preferred or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in Planning / Scheduling in a Manufacturing environment Warehouse Management SystemsPrefer 2-4 years of experienceKnowledge in Lean Manufacturing, KBI and KPI reportingStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.Experience with data modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis to support business decisions.Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Understanding of key business metrics and how data supports strategic goals.Ability to partner cross-functionally with planning, operations, finance, and leadership teams.Experience in process improvement using data-driven approaches.

Annual Base Salary Range: $79,200 - $99,000
