Responsibilities

Overview:
The Technology Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, vendor partnerships, and program/project management activities within the ADDG technology organization. This role ensures effective allocation of capital and operational budgets, strategic vendor relationships, and successful delivery of technology programs aligned with business objectives for Ascension Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:Budget Planning and Financial ManagementDevelop, manage, and monitor annual capital (CapEx) and operational (OpEx) budgets for the technology department.Prepare and present financial reports and budget analyses to leadership.Vendor ManagementOversee vendor relationships and performance across technology service providers and contractors.Collaborate with procurement and legal to ensure contracts align with organizational standards and objectives.ADDG Program and Project Management Office (PMO)Lead the ADDG PMO function to ensure consistent project delivery practices, governance, and reporting.Oversee the portfolio of ADDG technology projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and budget constraints.Develop and maintain project management frameworks, templates, and methodologies.Coach and mentor project managers and support their professional development.Leadership and CollaborationPartner with cross-functional leaders to ensure technology initiatives support organizational strategy.Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the technology organization.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field strongly preferred7+ years of progressive experience in technology management, with a focus on budgeting, vendor management, and PMO leadership.Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar budgets and complex technology portfolios.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).Experience with financial forecasting tools, vendor management systems, and project portfolio management software.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.PMP, ITIL, or similar certification preferred.

Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
